The Need
Hull faces ongoing challenges linked to youth engagement, wellbeing, and community safety. Young people need access to positive opportunities that help them make better choices, develop skills, and build confidence.
Our work focuses on prevention. We support young people before issues escalate, creating long-term positive outcomes for individuals and the wider community.
Our Solution
We deliver youth-led programmes that give young people real responsibility, structured support, and meaningful opportunities to lead.
Youth-Led Model
Young people design and lead their own projects, building ownership and confidence.
Structured Support
Mentoring, workshops, and guidance ensure ideas are developed into real outcomes.
Health and Wellbeing Focus
Activities and support improve mental health, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
SHIFT Project
SHIFT is our flagship programme. It gives young people the opportunity to pitch ideas, receive funding, and deliver projects that support other young people in Hull.
Three young people receive £2,500 each, alongside mentoring, workshops, and wellbeing support, to deliver their own youth-led projects.
